And FWIW the biggest change in my beers was going all grain, they finish lower FG the color is much lighter, better hop utilization just better all around.

I actually have a couple set-ups I have a 3 tier tippy dump replica gas fired RIMS and sometimes like today I just do a BIAB and batch sparge in a 2nd vessel. Seems like I do the BIAB more and more, the beer turns out great and I basically cut a hour out of my brew day and there is no such thing as a stuck mash on BIAB, which is nice on a wheat brew day like today.

Looks like I will be shopping at a different Whole Foods now.

Men drink while women shop, I like this concept.
I went to Russian river brewery the second day for Pliney the younger, got there at 7am with about 30 heads already there. One of the brewers came by and talked to evryone in line thanking them for coming out, real cool guy.
funny thing is city is actually doing a study on how the pliney release has an impact on the local economy. I know I spent $200 between the beer, food, shirt and stop by one of the head shops there. Was a fun experience and the beer was great, really strong 10.8. I personally think the elder is better though
Cheers

The old Beach House/Gazos Grill has reopened as the Highway 1 Brewing Company. South of Pescadero, north of Davenport. Their three brews are tasteless--Bud/Coors/Miller stuff--but some feedback and encouragement might result in better product.
