Bud Light being the problem there... Red Hook used to have one that had Starbucks in it and it wasn't bad.
DogfistHead Chicory - go to BevMo. Just saw some in San Bruno, but the Sunnyvale one near Mary and El Camino (the old Good Guys) has an awesome beer selection and a buyer who knows what to get.

Also, there is a Kona beer that uses coffee and it was pretty tasty. Was it the Porter? Don't remember. It was good though, if you are into it.

Yep - that's the one. The Alaskan APA was really good. They have 25 beers on tap which is awesome!

Just picked up a 6 pack of this:

I've been looking for a Belgian style or Dubbel ale in a 6 packs size. BA gives it 90/99 score so I can't wait till work is done.

EDIT great stuff! And great for the price too. Can actually have a nice Belgian style that doesn't come in a full pint bottle and cost over $10 to open it.

I hate that stuff. I got a mix 12 pack the other day of that stuff and I just hate that stuff. I'm not a big fan of Belgians. It's too damn sweet. Too much Malt. I even tried a white IPA and didn't like that either.

If I'm looking for something sweet I'd rather just drink a good cider.

Woot! Going on a North Bay Brew tour with some friends this Sunday. Hitting up Lagunita's, Russian River, Bear Republic, and possibly 21st Amendment on the way home. Been to all of them before but figured it would be a fun late birthday deal.

Give it some time it all the suspended yeast and proteins will drop out. That nasty stuff at the top is called the krausen and it looks like it already dropped so fermentation should be slowed or over. That crap at the bottom is trub and yeast.

Are you going to bottle this? Looks like a real small batch..you doing extract or all grain?
