I am a huge fan of hops, hops and more hops..
My list would look something like (all from CA)
-Hoptimum – sierra Nevada
-Double Jack – Firestone
-Hope crises – 21st amendment
-Enjoy by – Stone
-Blind pig – Russian river
-Double daddy – speakeasy (had their blind tiger at the 16th anniversary, amazing!)
Denoginizer – Drakes
Hop shortage – Knee deep
Now I need a beer...

More beer out in concord.
Have you tried hoppagedon by Napa smith? Amazing! Another good one is Anderson valleys IPA but I've had it only a couple of times and wouldn't call it my favorite

i havent had a hoppagedon.. I will have to find. Anderson in enjoyable. Just had Fresh Squeezed IPA from Deschutes brewery and thought it was great. very citra/fruity.. smells great
I used to brew, probably done about 10 total that worked out well. Have not done any brewing since I have not had a garage, sadly.
Stopped by Freewheel again. I seriously love this place.

Fresh Squeezed is fantastic. You will probably also like HopHenge IPA from Deschutes. I am not so much into seriously hopped beer, but when I was, Magnolia's "Proving Ground" IPA was the winner for me. Also, you will probably love Ballast Point's Sculpin IPA.

the best local IPAs I've had lately:
• Sante Adairius 831
• RR HopTime Harvest Ale
• RR Hopfather
For my money, Mr. Cilurzo makes the best ales in the area. I'm also excited to see how Sante will do in the next couple of years, considering they're getting a TON of attention - even nationally.
Anyone else into stouts and sours, or are you all just IPA fans?
