I would highly recommend the trip. Great destination for a beercation. It was my second time up to fort bragg and the first time we left too early and avbc had not opened yet. We timed it right this year and it was sweet! Even got someone to speek some Boontling to us. Boontling - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Finally doing the blonde (ale) tonight so that at least 3 of my 4 taps are pouring homebrew for my graduation BBQ next month!

On the commercial front, Sierra Nevada Tumbler is out!

I'm a fan of Black IPA's. Havent had the Stone I don't think (its not the Sublime is it?), but I have had 21st Amendments Back in Black. DOPE shizzle. Try it.

....missed out on draft Stone IPA last night cuz I was sitting 'in the wrong part of the restaurant' last night down here in Downtown Disney. I had to settle for Levitation in a bottle, so it made it slightly less painful...

Yes, the Sublimely Self-Righteous is the black IPA. It's the only one I've truely been blown away by. 21A's Back in Black and Deschuetes Hop in the Dark were both ok, but not amazing.

This was actually the 15th anniversary imperial black ipa. 10.8% alcohol, did a good job of making me feel good. I'm not normally a fan of them but I decided to try it and was glad I did.

Here you go. http://blog.stonebrew.com/?p=2570

Good beer and good value. It's not so discretely re-labeled Gordon Biersch beer.
