Thinking about heading to Drakes for their First Friday event this week.

 

Do you mean 9 Burger,the place that opened last spring just south of the Mountain Store? It's still there,and it has a good selection of brews.

 

Went and hung out at Bear Republic for a little while this last weekend. It's a shame only a handful of their beers are distributed.

Had Firestone Walker Double Jack the other day.

i compared lagunitas imperial red to lagunitas maximus, and to my surprise, the flavors seem reversed. side note: i was researching rally cars while comparing!

 

Finally got a 6 pack of these when my local Safeway got it.

Good stuff... has a notable roasted coconut note, enough hops to balance out the coconut, all in a brown ale. This is good for warming spring weather.
