couple questions..
when i looked at my header, it seemed as if my cats were part of it. Is this true? Second, if i had a local exhaust shop weld me up a catless track pipe, and it threw a CEL from the 02 censors, would it put it into limp mode?

 

HFC will do almost nothing for your car but make it sound like a honda...don't do it

 

thats what i used to think untill i drove my friends 05 rs with no cats and basically that think womped on my 2.5i. he dyno-ed at 190 with intake, lwcp, and full exhaust. That would mean that i could get around 196 because of the varaible valve lift.

 

we're talking about crank HP and not whp right? lol

 

um...road dynos do not give BHP...soooo that makes no sense

190whp on an N/A motor with just that? impossible...190BHP maybe...but that only puts him at ~140whp (maybe less actually)

 

they said that it was about 190 at the crank. Definatly not at the wheels. who do you think i am some jdm honda rice?

 

by the way, i got a pipe made up by my muffler shop, and i still have the pre-cat in the header of course. IT DOES NOT SOUND RICEY! about as much hp increase as my CAI , which is nothin huge but you can deffinatly tell a difference. Next i'm going to send out my cams to delta and we will see from there.

 

gl with Delta...i was under the impression they were not making cams for iAVLS

you can't get them for the 2.5i as of now
