as for the pulleys they are worth it because the cut down on driveline loss due to rotational mass...so it wont make more HP but it will allow more hp to hit the wheels (not much though)

new idea
so i was thinking about cheap ways for getting more hp out of the car, an idea that came to mind, is if you had a hood scoop, could you potentially add blowers (not supercharger) for the intake, so the air would get forced/sucked in using the speed of the car/wind resistance. any thoughts?

p.s. - it'd be like the old legacy's with the scoop that dumped into the "smoke tower" lol
hey y'all, just bought a new 07' 2.5i and want to tune a bit. i've read through several threads and there's some pretty useful stuff on here. thanks! i want to add a cai and to my understanding the cai's for the wrx will fit. can anyone verify that? and what brand has the best performance and is most reliable? any feedback greatly appreciated!!!
wrx CAI will not fit. i believe that injen is the most tried and proven but i've heard good things about injen CAI and the Weapon R SRI. you can also just delete the intake silencer and get almost the same power inprovement for free.

it really seems kinda like something that will break or not do as promised. i mean, intake companies claim extraordinarily high numbers that are "dyno proven", but in actually the product is nothing like advertised. this electric supercharger seems too good and easy to be true, but if it does work, i mean thats pretty sick... cheap, simple, reliable, and it works. what more could you ask for?
OK so please help me out here... what is the easiest way to remove the crank pulley... i've heard a lot of mixed things like having to pull the engine... if it takes that much work i'm not doing it... thanks
i felt like being a jerk for a day so i just yerked off that entire stupid muffler from the axle back (who needs to be quiet anyway... i was just wanting to know how illegal is this (CA)
