Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Were you guys replying to me..hope so.

I have alot more sorting through info to do. What subie magazine said- (you should watch the vid on a 05 impreza rs) where it went head to head with a 350z, evo, and wrx. It was SECOND simply due to the lack of hps. It handled as well though. He mentioned something about CHANGING pistons period the ratio was almost balanced! This is the info I accidently deleted and must get a hold of.

At the wrx mod site- the thing about the intake silencer should help lots to. Its diy and free.

Ok lets say after intakes, headers, manifold removing a cat, muffler, exaust seriously- how much different in acceleration. How much time can we remove from 0 to 60k? And- how come no one asked about this?

although the 06, 07s hav EL headers....the obx headers are still better then stock.... u might not gain as much as the 05s....but it will still outperform stock...
Plus, isnt the optimum exhaust size 2.25"? so i think puting the obx or cobb to the 06s will improve the low end....
Anyway..Cobb will be releasing a new designed header this summer as many of u know...

I'll put them on after I get my sideskirts and mirrors.
I'm actually trying to make my car identical to the 2.0R from the UK's and Asia's line of imprezas.

btw, Since it looks like we're all a big subaru family here . . . does anyone here use msn messenger?
all you need j-chow is side skirts and seats and the car will look like a 2.0R. although inside the car is totally different, firstly the redline on the 2.0R is like 7000RPM and the engine bay has electronic sensors all over the place. i could take some pics of my friend's if you like?

That would be awesome if you could!
I really like how the 2.0R looks compared to our 2.5i.
Dunno why CAN + US versions can't have the options of adding those parts or at least including them. Looks so much cleaner and nicer with the mirrors, seats, and sideskirts. well, my opinion that is :P

I just bought 2 turbonators. Yeah, that tornado vornado whatever you call them that saves gas. I know I know, I read a zillion times that that stuff don't work. But, a friend of mine had like 6 of them free so we both tried it out. I've put in two in my car. One a few inches after the sensor and another before the torque box. Before the installation, I got 260 miles a tank on the average w/ the hks filter on. I know thats low but its always been low ever since.

So yeah, now I'm like 1/3 in my tank left and I got 200 miles. So.. I'm leaning towards the side where I'm supposed to say that It does work! I didn't feel any extra torque or hp as it supposed to claim but i'm all in for the better mpg.

---------------------

btw, as promised, the hks makes my car pull harder from a stop and sound great. I highly recommend getting one..

--------------------

Last question,.. has any of you guys tried doing them snorkus delete n' stuff. If so, what was your initial impression with the DIY mod.

Intake

I Just Put The Injen Cold Air Intake On My 2006 Impreza 2.5i. Well Worth The Money. All You Need Is An Elbow And Some Time. And Everything Works Great. The Hardest Part Was Putting The Cold Air Elbo On. I'll Have Pics In A Couple Days.
