Hey, finally looks like the thread is reborn. I Got that kartboy shifter and I love it. absolutely love it.
The wing had to go back on my buddies car since at 150mph he said hes rear end wobbles. i guess thats why the sti came with a spoiler in the first place HAHA.
Anyways. I havent done much else to the ride. I have that pully sitting around but never got around to doing it.
And painting of the rims sounds like something i might do. On a black 2.5 what color should I do? Gold? Maybe gunmetalish bronze?
Oh well, and btw did you sand the rims before paint or just spray right on em as is?

No, do not spray paint them as it is.
This is what I did.
Take off all 4 wheels.
Clean and wash the wheels inside out, then use wheel degreaser to get any stains that's left over. Rinse that off afterwards, and dry the wheels.
Wet sand the rims with 400-800 waterproof grit paper (this can be debated) and for about 10-15min depending on how much clear coat is remaining on your rims.
Rinse off the gunk and crap that's left from sanding your rims and dry them off.
Start masking off the tires with tape+newspaper, or if that doesn't work use cue cards;

I sprayed too far away, and my tires got some gold paint on them. You should spray about 20-30cm away from the rims.
After masking off the tires, you can use primer and spray them on the rims. I used 2 coats with 30 min between each coat. (X number of coats, up to you)
Then, you can start using spray paint. I used 4 coats of gold with about 20-30min between each coat. I'd advise you to let it dry longer (I did this when it was raining and windy outside).
After spraying the rims 'X' number of times, and after it's dried, you can spray Clear Coat on the rims. I used 2 coats, with 15-20min between each coat.
After all that is finished, allow 2-4 hours to dry, or even more depending on condition of weather.
You can spray "X" number of coats depending on your liking.
That's what I did
In the end, took 11 hours cause I screwed up on some parts.

From what i've read here (since i'm not one of the weapon r guys, i'm not an expert) there isn't one specific for the 06's tho the 05's have instructions on modding them to work on the 06's, but basicly to make an 05 work on an 05's you need to buy acouple feet of vacuum hose and a T joint since we have an extra vacuum line, I've done this with my Injen and been running for a few 1000s miles that way with no problem
My 02 2.5rs's weapon-r left me with like 3 feet of extra hose. They redid the kits and they are alot nicer now. You shouldnt have a problem. Hell my one hose is almost 3/4 the length of the engine bay because of how I ran it and I still had all that extra.
