Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Does anyone know a good site that has Stock replacement parts, even whole transmissions, because most sites have performance upgraded versions and they're a bit expensive for me right now to get those

no see the problem is in the sring rods. say the sti trunk(w/ spoiler) is like 20lbs, and our 2.5i trunk is only 10lbs. the spring rods used to open and hold the trunk up are geared for that weight. well not my 10lbs spring rods are trying to open a 20lbs trunk, and my buddies 20lbs spring rods are Launching the 10lbs trunk. see where im going. for me its not problem, i just open the trunk from the inside then go back and lift it, but i had to make a copy key for my buddy so he can hand open it for now. We ARE going to swap the springs this weekend.

also getting a spoiler for your 2.5i trunk would mean drilling holes. if you want to drill like 5 or 6 holes, then yea, itll fit perfect. its the same exact trunk, IDENTICAL, probably made on the same production path. but youl need to drill. i say find an sti owner who no longer wants his wing, and swap the whole trunk, springs and all.

hey seoulpaik, u might as well go for performance parts...reason being...A.youll prolly spend more on stock parts, and B.u might as well spend less money and get a part that gives u better performance, but thats just my take...the best thing to do if u want a stock part is go to subaru dealership...they have stock parts...but like i said yur better off goin with aftermarket prolly...example, u wanna put an sti short shifter in yur car...300 bucks...rallitek aftermarket short shifter...135...u compare

Question

I know it will cost a lot, but does anyone know where to find manual transmissions to replace the AT, cause i made the biggest mistake by buying an auto because well, it snows here in CO and its a pain to drive in the snow if no one knows that...but now i totally regret it and i want to change it out, i know its possible, but how much will it cost?

i got the weapon r intake, pp6 ecu and exhaust. i love the subaru impreza great as a first car. its a shame about the future subarus. at least it should keep our car value up on the second hand market

ive got what you do, but im looking for the pp6, is it the kind where you plug it in and it STAYS in, or is it a reflash? also, how much more did you get out of your car from it. noticable. its like 500 bucks and i wanna be sure its a bang for the buck.
