Going to have to wait on mine, Engine started creating a ratling sound and the dealership believes it to be the engine and what to replace the whole thing, good thing is tho its still covered but I'll be without my car for about a week or so

 

did they tell you what's wrong with it

has anyone thought about painting thier exhaust flat black??

 

I thought about doing it to the borla headers when I get them, or the ebay rip offs... but no the exhaust.

 

When I finally get around to putting exhaust on, I will be painting it flat black...

 

I just ordered the spt one tuesday... so I will have it soon enough.

I dont have a 06 2.5rs though.

None the less I hope it sounds sick.

i think the painted exhaust gives it a sort of stealthy/sleeper look
its an acquired taste

 

Could you paint it tho? wouldn't it get to hot for the paint to last?

they said something about the berring shafts, but i'm with you Cky, free engine all the way

 

Go to walmart... they have 1500 high temp paint from dupli color. I used it to paint my rotors black.

 

has the paint on the rotors chipped yet?
i know its an easy fix but i just wanna know cuz its an attractive DIY mod

 

Well I have only had them on for like 4 days now, and no chipping yet.

I am thinking they wont though casue its a really strong paint and I took my time and baked after each coat.

 

wait .. your rotors or your break calipers
