06 Rs Mod Thread
Well, I've had my 2.5i for rougly a month now and I can't complain!
Although the rear DOES need a spoiler, and the fact that the ride height seems a bit high, but all those can be modified later.
As a matter of fact, I'm planning to purchase lowering springs.
Right now, a dealer is offering me the Tein.S Tech springs but after reading A LOT of reviews, everyones' been saying their either good, or their crap! lol
Now I have no idea which is it, but I'm wondering if there are any Tanabe lowering springs available for the 06' 2.5i.
I've researched these other Tanabe lowering springs:
Sustec GF210
&
Sustec DF210
Any ideas on these? Can they fit on the 2.5i and how is it compared to the Tein S. Tech springs?
Thx a bunch!

Well, that goes the same for me. I'm not bringing my ride to the autocross or rally, merely I just want lowering springs that give that drop in height, but at the same time improves a slight bit of handling and stiffness.
Yea. . . i know, coilovers are the best choice for that option rite? :P
I don't have the bling bling $$ to afford that, so i gotta go cheap :P
BTW, I've also read a lot of reviews on our stock tires : Potenza RE-92a
and apparently they suck ? lol
What's your 4-1-1 on that ?

hahaha alrighty alrighty!
You want pics of our rides?
Here ya go:

Just to let you know, I'm not the type of person that would decorate my car with these "items" :P
That's my gf's job to decorate the interior. I am so *whipped* :S
I'm in charge of the exterior.
Anywho,
Upcoming mods:
1) Tanabe Sustec lowering springs or Tein S.Tech springs
2) Cold air intake + air filter
3) Need a rear spoiler . . . seriously need one... my rides' butt naked.
4) Change lowbeam headlights to Osram Silverstars . . or Cool Blue.
5) Front strut tower brace
6) Front and rear sway bars *if applicable*
7) Short throw shifter
8) God Dang NEW TIRES
9) Change headers and exhaust
I talked to a performance parts dealer and he told me that I'd have to purchase Sti endlinks in order to install F/R sway bars.
Obviously, I don't have the cash to fork up for these mods.
It'll be a slow process.
Roughly 2-3 months between each modification.
So yea. Sorry for the crappy pics. The weather's been shabby for about a month.
Chow!
