Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

One more thing... yes the stock tires suck but when you are at the track check your tire pressure. I used 45 psi in the front and 25 psi in the rear and that worked well. But that worked for that day. See what works for you.

I just bought the 06 wrx wheels for my car..
Might do some searching on those springs first, lot of chatter about them on the forums. An example: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ght=tein+stech

That one has some facts in it, if you can read around some of s tech bashing. Hope that is helpful.

I just picked my 2.5i up, I love the thing. I know for a little more I couldve had a WRX TR but I chose not to go that route for a few reasons (all of which yes I may regret down the line). My insurance wouldve been close to double what Im paying on my 2.5i now, not to mention at times I really didnt want to deal with driving a manual. My Spec-V became tiresome to drive after 10 hour days of work and a commute back home in city traffic - so I opted for the auto tranny in this one. I cant say enough about this car though its just got a solid feel to it, I have no complaints and just cant wait for my stock spoiler to come in Monday, because the backend looks naked without it.

Hey DPGX,
I'm in Buffalo too. I picked up my 06 2.5i wagon a few weeks ago; 5 speed metallic gray with fogs. I traded in my 2000 Sentra SE 5 sp for it. I too was impressed with the quality relative to my 00 sentra. The insurance on the WRX is high and the price difference was not trivial almost 3-4 grand more for the WRX. I'm very happy with the 2.5i and I can use any grade fuel I want and the insurance is low. It handles better than I thought which was another surprise.

check out this sick body kit, i just got an email reply from teh company in japan, looks the best so far.

i think the ings body kit makes the car too retangular, alot like the old skylines. i think that the new Zerosports body kit is better than the ings+1. give it a few months, more and more body kits will be available, i can get the ings+1 for US$1730. i know in about 3 months you will be able to buy replica kits from china half the price

Fasteddie, nice, what car dealer did you go through? I hear ya though with the insurance, lease wouldve worked out to not be a whole lot more but the insurance was going to kill me. Im very happy with my 2.5i after driving in the snow last night for the first time. The one thing about leasing that I'll miss the ability to do is modding the car... Im having second thoughts in regards to that however I really do enjoy this car. After last night I have to say that this car handles a great deal better than my spec v - more importantly awd is amazing in the snow.

DPGX, I went through Northtown Subaru and as odd as it sounds I had a good buying experience, the verdict is still out on service though. My radio had to be replaced but otherwise everything is good. The snow performance is a world of difference, the nissan was just plain horrible in the snow. I've been driving it a little more aggresively and it handles pretty good stock. My milage has been good too, 31 mpg on the highway coming back from Jersey, cops everywhere so stayed at 65-70. The build quality is clearly superior to the Sentra. I had several mods on my Nissan but the impreza I like the way it is. Maybe some pulleys and some suspension work next year but nothing too drastic. Everyone that had driven my sentra and then the impreza unanimously chose the impreza.
