SRIC Mountain Bike Crew!
i had a blast but i was wrecked!
once i ran out of water on the back side of the loop it was just downhill from there.
some of the best parts of the trails i couldn't enjoy cus i couldn't even climb the smallest hills.
my body just didn't have enough energy to pedal.
next time i'm def eating better the night before and that morning.
sorry if i held you guys up any at the end.
the new bike will take some getting used to but overall i'm def happy with it.
i need to get my shimano brake levers on there so i can adjust the pull and leverage. my right fingers are sore from the long pull on the rear brake.
i also need to get the sag set and make sure its dialed in for my weight. since sometimes it felt soft and others it felt too stiff.
and i dunno if it ws related or not but lastnight i woke up every hour and had to drink a whole glass of water. but i think it was something i ate/drank lastnight cus i still feel like crap.
thanks for the invite out.
eddy: Auction AutoBidder FTW!!
as long as the bids don't get over what is the max you'd pay you'll win.
i've been using it to snipe auctions for the past few years and i've only lost one with it.
i set my max and set it to bid the last 10 secs of the auction and just leave my computer on.
you don't have to be around at all (good for those auctions that close at 3am).
it's also saved me quite a bit of money since i normally get it for less than my max cus it leaved no time for others to counter bid.
good luck on that!

I have to be at a performance @ 3: pm. So a morning ride would be okay for me. Meet at 8 or 9 maybe???

yeah, let's shoot for 9. Early enough to still be cool out I hope. What trail(s) do we want to ride? I always love connector and FDLT but check out this loop idea:
A decent amount of climbing and a bunch of downhill + the main fun trails. I figure that will work out to about 13 miles. What do you think?
- Park at foresthill bridge (in the dirt lot where fuel break ends maybe)
- Ride across foresthill bridge
- Upper stagecoach -> mossy rock -> flood -> stagecoach
- Climb up Clementine
- ride confluence
- Climb up Clementine
- Fuel break back to the cars

I don't really like the climbing either. Only thing that sucks is the only real loop up there is FDLT, and while I love that trail, I don't want to burn you dudes out on it
edit: maybe now that summer is here we need to start looking at maybe Rockville, planning that trip to Tam and actually going, hitting up Tahoe, etc, etc

my buddy still has that cabin in Kyburz if we want to do a weekender to Tahoe and hit Mr. Toads and the rim trail.
the place isn't super luxury like your guy's place in truckee but it will sleep a few of us in sleeping bags (only one bed). Prolly about 6 guys if we wanted. and you can't complain about the price, it's DIRT cheap!
all i have to do is make sure it's available for a weekend.
i def want to do Mr. Toads this summer once the snow melts!

Ok, well, I've been talking with Randy and we are going to ride the connector/FDLT loop again at 9am on Saturday. I'm either going to ride again with Randy on Sunday, or do the FATRAC ride on sweetwater/salmon falls. Let me know which day you guys want to ride. I'll be riding both
