Just remember that the crank side is reverse threaded.

So, do you guys know where else besides Bicycles Plus or Cambria I could rent an Epic? I just found out that both shops carry ONLY the medium size for rental/demo, which is going to be a tad on the small size for me. They can rent me the Sumpjumper in XL, which is tempting, but I'm really liking the epic over the stumpjumper
This sucks.

This sucks.

Your only other options look to be Woodland or Placerville. You can check for yourself here:

If that doesn't work, find a shop in the Ghey Area and we'll combine it with a road trip to one of the many fine rides down that way.

giggidy. I got a decent feel for the bike downtown (I was jumping curbs and riding through planters :rotfl: ) so a full out ride might not be necessary but I'd like it. Just for fun, I think I might also ride the Cannondale Rush tonight - I'd like to check out the scalpel as it's supposed to be the closest to the epic but Mikes doesn't have any and they said not many shops carry them :\
