I'll set it up for Saturday. If I know us, and I think I do, we're all going to be way hung over on Sunday from St. Patty's day fun on Saturday night

Hopefully I should be able to make it. 11am right? (I have to take our cats to the vets that morning 8:30am.....fuzzballs are getting their annual shots).

Where exactly will we be meeting up at?

Oh.....is anyone interested in going to the Sea Otter Classic this year @ Laguna Seca? I'm registered to ride the 20 mile mountain bike tour. Its Saturday April 14th. The cost is $52 which includes entry, the ride and a BBQ lunch with a raffle. Plus all the other events going on at Laguna Seca.

Was wondering if anyone else was planning on attending...doing a car pool and such.

If we do Connector + Divide (is that ok with you dudes?), we'll meet here:

Upper Clementine Rd.

Just a couple miles up from the Foresthill Bridge (on foresthill rd) is upper clementine rd on the left. Go in about a mile and you'll see a parking lot on the left, you should see us there, or parked on the side of the road along the way. Look for my white wrx wagon .

I don't think I can do that this year. Too much school work. 12 units + full time is kicking me anus.

Looking forward to this weekend. I called CBE yesterday and they told me to call Thursday to set it all up. So hopefully this Saturday I'll be sporting an Epic and I'll get my first real trail ride on full suspension :wiggle:

Trust me...I understand.....I'm taking 14 units this semester......it just happens that the SOC ride is for KINS030 (bicycling)...I have to partake in 1 community ride....this is mine.

I think I know the spot you want us to meet at this Sat. It's right past the T section where Old Aurburn-Foresthill Road comes in at...& about 6 twisties before the parking lot for the Clemintine loop trail...right?

I should be driving my 98 Black Forester.

Make sure to take the pedals off your current bike and bring them with you to CBE.

Depending on some yet to be determined circumstances my wife may be joining us. If that is the case we may just meet you at the end of The Connector trail and ride the FDLT. She is familiar with that trail and I'm sure that will be enough for her that day.

Maybe I can do the loop and then ride the Connector back with you guys and have her pick me up at the trail head...I'll have to check on that one

See her bike below. She has yet to put it on true single track stuff like FDLT and she's still on the flat peds...not to thrilled about clip-ins yet.

Mine are attached with allen bolts and they're 9 years old. Are you sure you need pedal wrenches? Even the pedals on the Bridgestone are allen bolts.

Just remember that the crank side is reverse threaded.

Yeah I saw the guys at Mike's pull my pedals a few months ago when my BB was starting to die. They def. used a wrench :\. It's not a big deal - my neighbor has a ton of tools
