**** kirkwood/subaru partnership. I'm still bummed that when I got my 05 new and already had a kirkwood pass, like my 4th one (this is how i get treated for being a good customer) subaru gave me 2 free season passes, kirkwood wouldn't give me anything for them. Said they had to be immediate family ie. bro/sis/mom/dad.......none of which ski..........wouldn't let me give it to anyone or any other family or give me a damn thing for it......**** you kirkwood for that!
almost got expedition kirkwood for it but then manager said they had lost to much money year b4. selfish ******.

Plan is...
March 1/2
March 15/16 maybe 17
March 23
March 29/30
April 5/6
April 12/13
April 19/20
I'd be stoked if I can hit 10 days though.
My brother works Sats though.
Hopefully get two 3 weekends in there.
Try to get close to 20 days this year. Less than I'm used to but enough to keep me happy.

it doesnt look like the storm is going to be that bad. just a few weeks ago it snowed somewhere around 18 inches or so and i think they might have close 80 for a few hours or something, or maybe that was just talk. its predicted to snow somewhere between 3 inches and a foot so i wouldnt be too worried with the highway being closed
we've been in worse and it was still open, id honestly be surprised if they closed it

Ya planning on Squawllywood or Alpine... so 89 fr Truckee to Tahoe City? Or are ya gonna be in South Lake on Sat & looking to get to Kirkwood on Sun morning?
Only time I've been denied on 89 has been along the southwest shore near Bliss State Park. I was trying to get fr Homewood to SLT, but closures are typical during & just after most storms for that particular stretch. The long way around the lake ain't bad though.
I'm actually thinking ya meant to say "88" since that's the closure-prone hwy to the Sierras fr the Bay/Valley.

Looks like the last storm of the set is gonna be a doozy...
