Rode Squaw Valley today and had a blast. Very fast day and I'm totally spent. Did 3 runs off Siberia Express...straight-lined the main face with no turns all three runs!

Also met Olympic gold medalist Johnny Mosley and took 6 runs with him after our group lunch. There was a group of us composed of about 4 borders and 8 skiers riding with him. That guy is amazing!!!! Just a whole different level of skier!

But days and time we leave and get home, dont care so much when we get home, i have Monday and 1/2 Tuesday off.

thanks for the invite, i'll see if it works out, if i can untangle my vagina

Kyle it's a Fri to Sun thing. Arrive on Fri, ride Sat and Sun head home Sun night after showers and the house is cleaned up. It's always a good time. With any luck I'll be able to ride. I had a surgery yesterday and at this moment the only riding I'll be doing is off the wagon.

Damn, Ray! You got some serious snow-dance skillz! We're supposed to get a bit of snow this weekend! It doesn't look epic or anything... just enuff to touch up our playgrounds w/ a li'l somethin'-somethin'! Nice!

Once our list gets more squared away w/ who's locked in, let us know what you'd like us to bring up & pitch in on the grub & bev front.

I'll shoot Li'l Jeff a PM asap. I'll prolly give him a call manana.

I got your PM Cliff. I need to check on a few things and I should know by tomorrow if I can go. Mainly I need to figure out how I'm gonna deal with my online class since I gotta submit a research assignment online on Sunday.

It sounds like you're covered, Jeff. Ya might wanna call them to double check their operational status just before we roll out. Now ya just gotta get as much work done before Fri. Haaaa... I'm in the same boat as you!

Ray: Has anyone reminded Steven? I recall you or El Jefe had talked w/ him about the trip a while back. Also, I dunno if ya got my PM re: my departure info.

so after pushing it hard @BearValley this past wknd & having a bit more time on my hands for the next two weeks, i'm planning to get in about 4-5 days starting on this Fri!

Fri, 21 Mar: Squallywood most likely
Sat, 22 Mar: Diamond Peak ... smallish, esp. compared to Squaw but I got 2 comps for me & my buddy who'll be visiting fr MD

gonna head back on Mon, 24 Mar or Tue, 25 Mar: Sugar Bowl... my buddy thinks we can do both days. i know my legs would be useless after lunch on both days, so this is likely, if not definitely, just a one-day'er... or head to the casinos after riding

Sat, 29 Mar: Sierra

that's my TENTATIVE plan as of now. anyone down to caravan up, meet up at the resort, or whatever... let me know.

we are supposed to get a couple doses of light accumulation over the next week even w/ the high pressure building back in. but starting Tue the 25th, we're in for some serious dumpage for maybe 10 days w/ a couple breaks btwn storms/systems! Woohoo!

oh, and a few of the regulars of the SubaBrew BearValley Crew are looking to ride Kirkwood in a few weeks... Sat, 5 Apr.

I'd be stoked if I can hit 10 days though.

My brother works Sats though.

Hopefully get two 3 weekends in there.

Try to get close to 20 days this year. Less than I'm used to but enough to keep me happy.

March 2nd check....
March 15/16 check...

so far so good.

I hit up Dodge Ridge yesterday, there was a dusting (2-4") of fresh powder but otherwise pretty crunchy out there. Hopefully will get up to Sierra @ Tahoe by the end of the month to use my remaining lift ticket.
