I bought one up there... When I was there they just needed a student ID, or a printout of your enrollment info.

got mine at sierra last season. Supposedly you just need to show proof of enrollment (minimum 6 units) but I guess it really depends on the person checking if they really care. Also, since they just got bought out and it seems that theyre changing the plans, not sure if they're keeping the college double whammy since its not listed.

While 04Impreza didn't list that info in his post, both Sierra & N* still have the College DoubleWhammy @$299 on their websites.
http://www.sierraattahoe.com/info/wi...son-passes.asp
http://www.northstarattahoe.com/info...eason-pass.asp

The College DW is essentially the Limited DW, so it's possible that the same Hvnly access info for the Ltd DW holds true for the College DW.

At any rate, this is a slammin' deal, so I understand folks being hyped. Can you say Triple Whammy?

Too bad I won't be making as many trips up this yr during the heart of the season. Most of my riding will have to go down during my short winter break btwn quarters.*sniff sniff*

I got an email from N* this morning:

As part of the acquisition, Double Whammy® Unlimited, Limited, College & Value Adult season passes will also be valid at Heavenly Ski Resort, blackout dates and restrictions apply.

So does that mean college passes which have no blackout dates at Sierra and Northstar will have no blackout dates at Heavenly too?

So it looks like the double Whammy Limited (if you are ages 13-22) is the exact same thing as the College Double Whammy in both price and restrictions.

But I don't see anything about Heavenly in those it seems like it is only Sierra and Northstar.

Im guessing they just havent updated the site. Especially since since its already been announced by Vails what each pass will get you access to.

Just went on Boreal's site and Friday Oct 29th will be Fickin' Friday for All with $15 lift tickets!!! I was only going to go up Saturday but might also go up Friday. Also they're have a Jibassic Public Invitational Friday from 5pm-8pm and handing out $1,000. And they'll only be open from 9am-4pm Friday-Sunday.

According to their site, Saturday and Sunday will only be $30/lift ticket

Ummm... didn't I pretty much say the same thing?

And it looks like xdeathwishx already hooked us up w/ the answer to our concern.

See Post #3244 . It's only a few above yours.

*edit* Anyway, by the looks of it, Saturdays are gonna be even more b0nkerz @Sierra (for a couple months at least) since a chunk of folks won't be able to ride N* or Hvnly during that time. *edit*

That's crazy that they've managed to keep it at 15 bux yet another season! Even though it's a tiny mtn, I still managed to have fun the day I went up last year when I brought my nephew to continue progressing w/ his riding. Plus, $30 for our pair of lift tix! How sweet was that?!?

Btw, if you go this Fri, bring your best waterproof outerwear. Looks like "snain" (I know sleet is the correct term, but I like mine better.) is in the forecast.

I'll be going to Boreal tomorrow If anyone else heads up there, feel free to say hi. I'll be in some orange multi-colored pants and blackish-gray jacket
