Kinda weird, cause when I was checking out their trail map a little bit ago it showed that all the lifts were closed but every trail I scrolled over showed they were open or it wasn't listed. Not sure if the lifts being listed as closed was because I was looking after business hours (9am-2pm are they're spring hours) or if there were actually closed, which would be pointless for a ski resort to have open trails and closed lifts.

Rode from 10-8 on saturday all over the mountain. Just went around sessioning and filming for the video. Got some cool stall at Dodge (closed) stalling up the lift poles and gapping to the lift building and back off again.
Then a couple handrails and called it a day.
I'm trying to get some of the damn footage from my friend so I can post up.

Craigslist is your best friend
They're usually going for $50 but seen some people selling tickets for $30.
Sick! Can't wait for the footage.

FYI: Be careful when buying Squaw & Alpine tickets. If they are the actual RF chip embedded type, there is NO way to verify if the ticket has already been used until you get to the lifts.
My buddy bought me a ticket @Sports Basement earlier this season, but I wasn't able to make it up that day. Not realizing the whole RF chip dealio in use, he kept my ticket in his pocket the whole day. We're not sure if it was read as "used" that day since he kept his cellie in the same pocket. Supposedly, the chip encounters interference when in close proximity to such electronic devices.
If the ticket works, cool; if not, I'll pay.
I'd love to head up 2mrw, but I've got family travel plans already. I hope to get one more day up there before they close.
