I should really look into one of the double whammy passes. Plan on going up a lot more, so itd make sense.
Cant wait to try out my new setups, although might look into some more park inspired bindings. Love my Ride NrC's but they might be a little on the heavy side.
If anyone is looking to buy some gear, I have a couple boards, bindings and a couple jackets Im looking to get rid of.

ill be going for the first time. i really want to get into it, so im just going to buy some cheap equipment.
i know all the "vets" will hate on certain brands, but realistically.. for beginners like myself, we wont even notice the difference at this stage right?
on that note, i purchased a used Atomic board. actually heard they were a reputable brand from browsing the snowboarding forums. 164 cm, im 5'10 and FAT with big ol feet. the board is actually a known wide board. good for me?

164 is really big but try it out everyone likes em different. The ride SPI's or Deltas are nice and flexible bindings if you're looking for park stuff. I ride a forum manual 153 right now, but i think i wanna go smaller and stiffer thats what she said. maybe a 151 forum destroyer. anyone got any recommendations?

I'm 510 and not small. I ride super stiff boards. 163 and 166. I wouldn't recommend a stiff board for a noob. 164 will be good for pow. If your under 220 lbs its too big for a daily. 158 to 162 is a solid range.
thanks looks like we're about the same. although im a noob so your recommending stiff not good for noob scares me.. this is the description on the board..
Atomic Exeter Snowboard is a wide board that doesn't ride like a coffee table! The D4 Sandwich Construction, 1 degree base bevel and Twin Prog sidecut provide maximum response and control for riders with larger than average feet on groomers, pow or in the park. sku 26581
* Features: Length 164cm
* Waist 26.8cm
* Wood Core

That's not to stiff of a board. You'll be fine. It'll be solid in pow and the groomers. 160 would probably be better.
