Blizzaks are pretty much the benchmark in snow. But they wear out very fast on pavement. I have nokian hakkapalitas. Very happy with them and their grip but I don't put many pavement miles on them.
A good all-season...I hands down recommend the Toyo Proxes 4. Amazing snow grip, and equally good pavement grip and wear characteristics.

Any good recommendations on helmets? I found a Demon helmet at Mels Cotton for 50 bucks and it has built in speakers that I tested out and they work pretty good. I am thinking of getting it unless anyone has any better recommendations for the price etc

I have a RED Mutiny 2, got it in the off season so havent tried it yet. But I did slam my head into the floor at home and didnt feel a thing lol it has a low profile fit so its not as bulky as others.
