3 mountains! only about 150 more for 2 more mountains, I call that a deal. I am sure you will get your money worth easily for it.

Damn me!!!! What to do, what to do!?!?!?!?!?
Wow! Ya gotta love the heaps & heaps of early season snow, eh? Too bad I won't be able to get my slide on til my quarter ends just shy of 3 weeks from now.

I love Kirkwood, too! (Check My "Location.") And it seems I be just as torn as you if I was gonna get a pass this yr. The "Triple" Whammy & Epic Pass have a lotta bang for the buck!

Just FYI: that $629 you noted is actually for access to 8... count 'em... EIGHT mtns! The Heavenly/Northstar Adult Pass (aka Triple Whammy) is only $379. However, it has several holiday blackout dates for the 3 mtns.

Decisions... decisions...

Good luck & happy sliding, bruddah!

Nice! Heard nothing but rave reviews on the Cartels. While I ride a stiffer & more responsive binding (just my personal preference), my buddy loves his. I think they're the same season as yours, just in a different colorway. In case you didn't know, those are the '08 or '09 iteration. Not a bad thing at all since tech hasn't advanced by leaps & bounds to notice a "letdown."

Btw, where'd you pick 'em up at? Since I'm also in V-town, I'd rather support a shop closer to me.

Oh... and Hooray for snow!

Justin, I've popped in there a couple times. Last season when I was trying on TONS & TONS of boots @several different spots, the guy who helped me was pretty knowledgeable & helpful. They seem like a "core" type of shop that also sells skateboard stuff all year. I don't really recall how competitive their pricing is since I was primarily looking for the right fit & flex in whatever boots they carried.

Never Summer, eh? They rock! What do you have your eye on? And how about Ray's Santa Cruz hook-up?

Can't wait to slash some pow w/ you & the crew this season!

I don't think this is true. Maybe it was. But I'm driving back to SF tomorrow morning (hopefully), and I just checked the current chain control map. Still open, but chain controls. I think parts of 89 are close though.

I got em from boardgarden. But there's also Snowdrift in Napa. Real cool dude named Tom. He greets everyone by name.

Haha thanks. By the way, I shoveled all of that off and then drove right over the resulting snow bank with my blizzaks no prob. Never buying a 2wd car again.
