Will do,

It's official, Sierra has been sold to Active Sports Inc., owners of www.the-house.com. They are changing the name to TruSnow but supposedly going to continue to use the site and the interface there.

Speaking of snowboard movies, if anyone gets a chance to see either of these movies DO IT. they were amazing

- The Storming - featuring Kazu Kokubo. Just an amazing video, really really good cinematography and some ridiculous sized hits and cliffs etc. Very good all around movie

-Think Thank's "Left Brain Right Brain" - I wasn't sure what to expect it looked like a movie with lots of rails and riders with tight pants you know that stuff. BUT it was really entertaining. The riders in this movie are incredibly talented and they probably came up with THE most creative rail/urban hits I've ever seen.

But besides that I can't wait to ride. We have a pretty big park crew this year in CO. I'll probably ride tahoe over winter break for about a month.

If anyone vacations or anything in CO for the winter or whatever, hit me up

Am I that behind with snowboarding? When did they start doing this fancy spinning stuff?

Ha! Seems I spurred up some talk when I bumped this thread last month, eh?

Looks like the storm door might be open. Rain last wknd, rain this wknd, and more rain forecast next wknd, too.

The NOAA & Accuweather.com just released their winter '10-'11 weather forecast. Here's a summary from a Chicago area newsgroup: http://www.examiner.com/weather-in-c...rmer-s-almanac

As always, bookmark the following link for the latest info on deals & discounts for lift tix, season passes, etc. throughout the season: http://slidingonthecheap.com/ Prices will be updated soon!

Keep those snow dance rituals going, my fellow powderhounds & shredders!

Maybe I'll catch some of y'all at the upcoming expos & movie showings.

Anyone know a good lightweight jacket? The one I have now is wayyyy to heavy and big to be comfortable riding down the mountain in. I have seen people that have like jacket/sweatshirt style jackets that look really lightweight.

Can anyone help me out with some info?

Get a shell jacket. Then layer properly with some high tech thermals.

Check out the old Mack Dawg movie "Gameshow." The capita team did the transworld team challenge all wearing matching suits and riding 115cm boards.

I gotta 686 jacket thats pretty light weight. Cant remember the name of it but its a white jacket with green and blue strips like a grid and it says 686 here and there. Its a large or XL but fits me pretty good and in great shape. Hit me up if interested.

If Boreal really opens this next weekend and has good snow, I might just have to hit it up Gotta get back on the snow!!
