Bear was nice enough to close the bottom Monday so Tuesday was epic down there. Best riding down there for me in years. Straight bombing. Ducked the upper gay right after they openned the bottom... sick. Huge high speed turns. Rollers. Drops. Floaters. Super light for low elevation in April.

Floated the cornice pretty solid once.

Jordan said I got some lift woops on one crazy bomber shoot line. Had a blast.

Was sick riding with cliff, Jeff and Kevin again followed by a case a piece.

 

Just driving fast on roads like that and drifting the turns. Like pretending you're Petter Solberg.

Yeah know what you mean, I checked with my local Chevrolet dealer but they don't have the free kirkwood ticket deal going on. I gotta Kirkwood ticket for $25 off craigslist last night, might want to check on there.

I was just on Craigslist and their so many Kirkwood ticket deals. Some as low as 30 bucks for a ticket.

 

Yeah people are letting them go for really cheap even saw some Squaw tickets in the $40s and Northstar/Sierra tickets in the $30s. With the snow still coming, Craigslist will be the lift ticket hookup.

I don't know what's going down this weekend. Depends on my wife and Justin's wife. My dad is probably gonna cruise up and ride Fri/Sat. My brother will probably ride Sat/Sun. I'd like to ride Fri-Sun.

Just post up a radio channel before you guys go up and I'll flip the radio on if I head up and track you guys down. If you hear me but can't find me... I'll probably be riding the cliffs to the right of the wall or off the back of the wall.

got back from sierra a little while ago. It was surprisingly dead. Wait times for most lifts were less than a minute (esp in the westbowl where 2 weeks ago, lines on a sunday took a while). nice conditions most of the day, mostly cloudly but the sun did peek out a few times. Didn't start to snow till 2pm and made a nice powder layer to ride on.

Glad squaw is going to be open for a while longer. I can get my spring riding fix in until then.
