rollcall...snowboarding...you know who you are.
I just heard on the news that a snowboarder died at Northstar..
I think he was from SF, 30 years old.
either hit a tree or fell in a tree well after getting separated from his friends.
I just read that a skier died at kirkwood after the freesking comp.
40 foot back flip..

After watching some of those guysin that video, I'm not surprised by the Kirkwood thing. Sucks about the dude at Northstar too. Just goes to show that this is a dangerous sport we do and everybody needs to take the proper precautions.
Yikes! Really sad news to hear after just recently enjoying those freshies. My heart goes out to these peeps' families & friends.

Here is a first person story from my buddy mike up in Oregon last weekend....
Quoted from mike...
Ray- Today I saved a skiers life. He too was buried backwards and upside down. I saw two fingers waving trying to get some air. I swooped in, started digging and finally uncovered his face. The loudest breath of gasping air I've ever heard. It was bad man. Thankfully his partner about 40 yards away (unable to move) threw me his pack with a shovel and I tore into it- snapped it together and dug like a man possed. About 2 full minutes he was under- another 30 seconds and it would have been bad.
My 5th human life saved. I got a perfect record so far........learn CPR kiddies- you never know when a stranger is gonna need your help.
So add that one in with the guy lost up in Canada and now this one... that's 2 deaths and 2 near deaths that I know if in the last couple weeks... (Justin)

Yeah, Mike is an O.G. pro. Even had his own pro model boards.
It's like the dude that buzzed passed you with head phones on. Had he been paying attention and not had head phones on he could have stopped and had you up way quicker than I would have. People need to start pulling their heads out of their asses.
back to work now.

It always seems like I get caught looking like a ****** on video. Got me spilling off the little bump I hit clean probably 5 or 6 other times. And then falling on that little hip at the bottom for the only time. Hit that probably 10 times. lol.
Sweet video though. Glad we got some footage of cliff and some glimpses of jordan. LOL. One of these times I'll have to just do a chaser run with him non stop and get a full run.

I'm stoked we're getting this all iron'd out. Hopefully I can get a set up next year so we can splice all the footage together. Be nice to get some of you riding. I don't think we have any yet. Just first person.
