I like to go to squaw (cause its free for me lol) hopefully mid week it will be calmed down enough to get up there but still nice and soft on the mountain. Im thinking I need a bigger board also. Ive got a 158 but Im 5'11. I dont do park, just cruise. I just started this season. Im thinking I need to step up to 160-162 for the deeper stuff. Inputs? thanks.

Personal preference if you ask me. I got a free 165 that I use for the powder. Easy to ride in the deep, but it's bulky and gets tiring. I sometimes tear it up on my butter-soft 154 and do deep pow and cliffs and it works fine and is usually more fun than my 165. Being light and soft I can easily keep the nose lifted and maneuver it around. I'm the same height as you btw. I guess you just need a mid-range board.

Anyone gotta 2011 Horrorscope FK? I hear great things about it from the park riders, wondering how it does around the rest of the mountain.

If anyone is looking to pick up some gear, Ill be putting just about all my gear for sale. Haven't used half of it and need to make some room.

Board length and width is all about weight and foot size. Height means jack.

I need to get an rc board. Just floating in the pow. Gotta try it.

Oh... Justin... your board RIPS in the pow. Lol! Sketch on the flats and chop though. Seems like a binding issue though. Next time we ride I want to check out your set up with you strapped in. I think I can help.

hahaha, you were using it? I know I need to adjust the high back and the toe foot pedal is too far forward. I'm gonna look to see if I can rent a Malolo for next weekend.

It's always been a little sketchy in the flats, why I went down on my *** that one time. The chop, if I bend my knees and work at it, my body absorbs it but the camber just tries to grab everything.

Bindings flex a lot. Jordan and I were taking a look at it. Heels flex up a lot. But in the pow it rips. I resurfaced a few times I would t have on mine. Talking nipple deep and bouncing. Stuck some sick stuff. Was deep and windy. Mad epic frozen beard!

I'll be in fresno next weekend. At least on day.

Yea, I've noticed some flex and I know they are only a medium flex. So I just chalked it up to that's the way they are. Damn that's some deep turns.

Yea I heard, Hayden's birthday. I'll see if Jeff wants to head up.

Yo man I ride a 2010 Capita Sierrascope. Sierra ski and snowboard store's version of the horescope. Has a little different core and different graphics/name. But for the most part it is the same board. It rips in the park man, and just as good in the pow. Love that board! Don't know if it is still available because that store got bought out this year but I would defiantly recommend it.
