No worries. It's a good investment.

The main thing I would advise you on is being careful not to overheat your base. If you leave the iron stationary to long and it's too hot you can start to heat up your base and melt it. That's the benefit of the wax specific irons... they usually have pretty sane heat settings.

Yea I was to. Until I started riding with Ray and seeing it done. I still don't do as good of a job as Ray does, but it's effective.

BTW, is there snow/ice to consider winters? seems like its not.

 

I'd play it safe and roll with your best winter tire. I was just there till Monday and it snowed pretty good. Never know what kinda conditions you could run into. I was on all seasons and did great, even drove through some foot deep snow on some backroads.

 

Oh alright, thanks for the heads up. If i have time before I leave to tahoe, ill definitely switch over to snows.

I wish I could but I have to be back at work on Tuesday. I'm going to day trip it on Monday. My bad luck, it's a three day weekend with great snow and I have to go out of state for a wedding.

 

Ah, darn it. well have fun on monday. Cant wait to rip up some man made snow.
