Looks like I better leave an hour earlier in case there's slow traffic on 88. If 88 is closed i'll probably just go snowboarding on Sunday instead.

There is no way i'm going to take 50 to 89 and then down to 88. Did it once and I'm not going to do it again.

Yea once was enough for me. And I just barely made it out of the Spur at the end of the day. Found out that they were closing the Spur at 4, it was 3:30. I've never taken my boots off and gotten 3 boards on a rack faster.

And I still have fun despite how madhouse the place can get.

Oh, and I love that Hollywood hit under Chair 4. It's about 1/4 - 1/3 the way up fr the bottom, yeah? I made my buddy's eyes bug out the one time I almost landed on the li'l tree in the run-out.
Must be because I almost never ride on weekends that I'm just not used to all the noobs around. The guys I was with were mostly snowboarders and they all ride heavenly, and even following them there were quite a few traverses where people were getting stuck. It would have been better without people sitting in the middle getting stuck, forcing us to slow down, though, so I'm guessing it would have been fine on a normal weekday.

It's called the Hollywood hit? It's right under the lift after the groomer gets narrower, and is about 1/4 of the way up. A ton of people were taking it when I was there, and it was a blast.

Contemplating doing a kwood day trip on Monday, but might not go up if it's all tracked out.

I unfortunately won't be able to make it up in this storm. Since my son is turning 1 next Friday, and we have the party set for Saturday, I have a ton of honey do list work to get completed.

Ya Ive havent done that route, nor do I want to. If 88 is closed I just dont go up. Only time Ive gone to Kirkwood via 50/89/88 is if I stayed the night in Tahoe.

I had an idea for that... megan can stay there and you and I can cut out late Sat night. Ride Sunday.

Then the next week can do the same thing but at my place. You stay over and just roll out with me. I'll drop you off on the way home Sunday. That way we can get a day in each weekend.

If you want to ride this weekend drop Jordan a line. He was asking me if we were gong. I'm bummed. Sunday looks like it's gonna be sick.

But whataya gonna do.

Great minds think alike cause I was gonna suggest the same thing.

I wish I could. I looked around the house and figured, there is no way I would be able to go this weekend and still get the house in shape before next weekend.

Looks like I'm a No-Go for 2mrw. But Sun, it's on @Kirkwood!!! And I still wanna catch up w/ y'all who plan to ride Sierra on Mon. I just need to figure who'll be taking my buddy home after shredding KW on Sun. It shouldn't be a prob b/c I know 2 other carloads of folks who I hope to catch some runs with.

So Matt, if there's space & I can work out a rtn ride for my boy, I likely be pinging you sometime soon.

Man, I can just picture those wheels turnin' in those heads of yours.

C'mon make it happen, Justin. Goes Tazmanian Devil style on everything that needs to be done.
