I'd hit up Homewood before Heavenly. It's cheaper, and for a beginner it's not going to matter. Plus the vibe at Homewood is very good, crowds are generally smaller and the resort is smaller making it easier for a group of varying abilities to hook up at a certain time for lunch.

Ya I cant wait for my car to lose its monster truck status. Also, I got it tuned at GST and made some insane power..my car is a freak. I'll make a thread later but baseline was like 246whp 240wtq then tuned was 261whp 279wtq.

so ran into some wild life on the slopes today. seen a number of these guys, but ran into them around mid mountain this morning. they eventually went skirting across a run below a gondola, in front of a bunch of skiers

hey need your help fellas, is it going to be do-able this weekend? I went that heinous weekend 3 or so back and it sucked *** got stuck at the wood. Not really planning on riding at least not much due to shoulder problems but my buddies want to go and I want to take my husky. I dont want to end up driving the whole fing weekend tho, what ya think

do you guys think i will make it through on 80 to reno this sunday? will my 07 wrx handle it? i put on the oem wheels and tires for this trip. after reno, i am driving down hwy 395 all the way to los angeles.

Past weekend at Homewood wasn't bad, but a bit too warm for me.
This weekend (23rd-25th) I'm off to Brian Head, UT (it's snowing there all week).

I took my 07 wrx on stock rims/tires out to Dodge Ridge the weekend of the 3rd , it was snowing from Sonora east all the way to the resort, and all day while we were 'boarding. There was about 6" of fresh snowfall that day, and easily a couple inches on the roads most of the way. Drove right through the chain control, had no major traction problems so long as I didnt get deep into boost.
