the burton seven is definetely a sweet board, i'd highly recommend it

I have had one for a couple years and its held up very nicely. I love the designs on the newer ones though, mine is an older model, very plain but they decorated it a bit so it kinda looks like it has lexus parts on it

Should have my 2006 wrx swap done on my RS by winter break, so that will be fin in the snow

This storm will be a teaser. The bit that does falls won't stick around long since, in general, it's still a li'l warm. We're probably about 6 weeks out before temps drop enuff & we could imagine any semblance of "base-building" snowfall.

... but ain't it nice to dream!

Well as you know the snow sucked last season and since I'm an idiot I decided to still freestyle through the trees. By board got snagged on a root and flipped me down a 10ft drop and I landed straight on my *** on a rock. The doc said I came really close to pinching a nerve that would have parylized me.
That was the worst recovery I've ever had..it took soooooo long. Although I was on morphine for awhile then on norco (double vicodin) for the rest of the time, so it was happy days for me!

ahhh...norco. That's more than double vicodin isn't it? Shoot I popped 2 vics and some whiskey and was jumping around. The norco had me drooling.

That sucks man.

I took a header like that not to long ago. Scared me really bad. I was doing the same. Cutting some trees to get to another run..FLYING. Trying to catch my bro. Made a bad adjustment. Saw the tree down in front of me. Jumped over it but in the process caught my nose on a tree. It whipped me around the tree head first into another tree. I still don't know how I road out of there. Knocked me good but was fine. Think no helmet it might of killed me. Slight different angle I would have broke my neck for sure. But it was a strait on hit. Lucky.

Wanna talk stupid...my brother and I hiked the back of bear valley at the end of the season and tried to ride through the back jumping rocks to hit patches of snow..haa. Got pretty far too. I was alloying 10 foot plus stretches of rock..haaa. Finally stopped and hiked back up. So stupid.

wtf you trying to scare us into staying home this year. JK, but that sounds horrible. I guess you gotta be careful (last thing i think about snowboarding). That **** is no joke tho, i damaged my knee for a long time. It's almost as rough as pavement or can be (especially if you dont go to kirk) imagine doing the **** we do on pavement, we'd be like (uhh no thanks)

i take it easy, i dont do tricks anymore, whats the poiint of showing off...i love carving and riding the wave, and i plan on doing it til im 70
boxes and rails blow, if you can do them, cool, but what happens when you fall? i will laugh when you have to call it a season.
Cliff drops and freeriding are cool, but man made stuff i stay away from.

same goes for skateboarding...im still extreme on my mtn bike though :/
