I was headed to Devil's Canyon tonight (great beers btw!) and got distracted by an Absinthe distillery that was giving out a free shot to whoever walked in.
That **** was ****ing amazing. When I have $75 I'm getting a bottle.

was just at 21A... saint martin's trappist ale smells like a chimay, but not as good as a chimay. the holiday spice ale is quite tasty though.

im enjoying this right now...im a big fan of hefes and this is my favorite

Santa Cruz Ale Works Hefeweizen This blonde colored ale has its roots firmly planted in Germany but has adapted well to suit the taste of the American public. By nature it is unfiltered as Hefeweizen means wheat beer with yeast in German. Unlike our Bavarian counterparts, this wheat beer does not have the same banana and clove undertones or esters. These flavors are typically formed during fermentation are not the result of adding spices or fruit flavorings. Our hefe starts off with a nice, balanced wheat malt profile and then finishes off with a light lemon/orange citrus essence. Approx 5.3% Alc./Vol.
