47 yards for a 10-yard gain ... those sound like some Barry Sanders type numbers.

I don't think it'll matter. Reggie ran fine behind a line without Probowler Pouncey, and Big Ben has shown incredible numbers at home. However, it's good to see that it's a new season and every year is different!

Well, what can you expect? Dilfer is a paid 49ers shill and he won't say anything bad about them. In the pre-season, dude was saying every 49ers prospect was going to be a beast later on. Tim Kawakami has said on twitter that there are rumors Dilfer may get some sort of position in 49ers management some day.

Well its not like Dilfer was wrong. Sure he was sucking off the Niners organization all night but the guy was absolutely correct on his predictions.
People that were freaking out about the season because a bunch of vets retired/quit/got booted/traded were over reacting. A lot of the guys that were hyped in preseason/offseason are showing that they are legit.
Barring the rust/newbie ****ups, 49ers looked good all around. Offense was better, defense didn't miss a beat, and the coaching staff was a improvement from last season. I didn't mention special teams because they're short bus special like they have always been. (Thanks Kyle Williams)

I usually wait u til after the game, but these are glaring facts.
1. Niners have more offensive weapons but can't make move the ball quickly or explosively.
2. Defense did get some stops, but offense can't put points up fast enough.
3. No sacks.
4. Who's next after Hyde? Not good.

Man if it weren't for all those incomplete receptions during clutch plays I think they could have had a shot. CK7 put the ball where it needed to be but the receivers blew it too many times.
Hope Hyde is ok, that hit to his knee looked ugly and he didn't seem to have much power afterwards.

Just a lot of silly mistakes today and a snowball effect because the other team played a perfect game. Pass rush was non existant, corners getting beat over the top, a couple clear catches that were ruled incomplete (wtf?), O line ****ting the bed like they do 50% of the games.
A total 180 from last week but it was against a team that was firing on all cylinders and it was an away east coast game. Look at the Rams losing to Washington after beating Hawks the week before.
Hopefully we're back to normal next week and see more consistent play.
