Vs Giants
1) Bad timeout right at the end of the 3rd quarter, should have let the time expire, eye on the game time Kaep!
2) Not a bad game, I would say this is how the games should be played, within reach of a final drive or final stop. Usually trust the defense to stop this one.
3) Acker and Brock missed interceptions.
3) Colinsworth was talkin about Vareen on the last drive, should have had him taken out of the equation, too easy to get down the field.
4) I'm fine with short passes and every once and while hitting down the field.
5) Rollouts got redundant
6) The quick WR screen game works, can expand on that and FAKE the quick screen and throw over the top.
7) Kaep hit a few "touch" passes over the top. I hope he works on reading the defense and challenging 1v1 and letting receivers make plays. Probably get more of those as the season continues on.
8) There was an ACTUAL HOLDING and Pass Interference called on NYG's defense! Amazing when you actually throw the ball and let your receivers try and make a play!
A lot of the analysis is that the Niners would have maybe 6 wins this season, so the fact that they're 1-4 isn't really alarming. You'd think the offense would be improved with the added weapons and I think that's where people are kind of ticked.
Defense is kind of where it's at, learning curve because there are a lot of new players. I see them improving overall toward the latter half of the season.

Figured it would be a close game. We had our chances and they had theirs. Vereen raped our D and their inability to blitz or contain the Vereen checkdown. Should have won that but didn't. I probably should mail it in and send Gagan his money ahead of time lol.

LOL! He's on crack. Offense can't sustain a drive so the defense gets tired... and gets beat. 140 points against... one of the worst. Only the dolphins have a lower scoring offense.
The running game could be good if people were worried about the pass game but no one is. They know they can stack the box and stop the run... and in the process scare CK7 in to being an idiot.
This team is garbage. Best thing they could do is loose... a lot. And draft Goff or Cook. The organization is having tons of troubles right now and it's not all about the players. With a better QB they'd be competitive. It's poor coaching and a terrible front office.

Still pissed we let Fangio walk. He turned that Chicago D into top10 from dead last. Mangini has our D ranked last from top 10.

Goff would be a turnover machine with this line. He would end up worst than Alex Smith on this team. They knew what they had with the Giants and still didn't let Kap throw for a while. Once Goff throws a couple ints, they'll do the same to him. This isn't the place to properly mold him into a great qb.
