Team looking good but this was against a terrible team with a lot of offseason hype. Hyde is legit and Kap showed improvement and a lot of ***** taking those hits. All in all, good game and the new unis are aesthetic as ****.

Weird start.
Hyde is the new 28 to look for, vision and explosiveness. Got through crevices. Bush is fragile as always, hurt and done. Glad to see, Hayne get some touches and recover from muffin the punt.
Defense suffocating, who needs Aldon for sacks? I enjoyed the blitzing, but I can see a good QB pick up blocks and make good reads. Lead to an int.
Probably keep the unis as they are good luck now.
The 3 tight end set and uptempo offense is where it's at! It's good to finally confuse a defense and get snaps off fast to use it to our advantage.

I'm pleasantly surprised with the defense. really had no idea what to expect from them. But man they were all over Bridgewater all game, and 5 sacks! thats fantastic. I was hopeful but didn't see a 17 point victory coming.
Oh an Bowman looked to be his former self. Getting it done, and well. Glad to see him making moves on the field
Offense looked solid, Kaep didn't get pressured too much, made smart runs and smart passes which was huge. You can tell they trained him well with him looking for the smart pass first before taking off on the run. Still not throwing for huge yardage but moving the chains and getting points is all that matters. No turnovers by him, always good to see.
Hyde hyde hyde. So solid, running so well. Love it

But overall, I was pretty surprised. I wasnt expecting half of what I saw. Kap needs to slide FEET first... I know he can take some big hits.. but why risk it.
One of the big things I was really happy about last night was time management! So happy to not get a delay of game every other play!!

Vikings were terrible. As bad or worst than the Raiders played (no offense Raiders fans). 49ers didn't play too well in the 1st half (exceptions being defense and Hyde). Game should've been a blowout (bigger than the 17 pts) win. Peterson was either too rusty or didn't give a damn about the Vikings.
Been saying Jarryd Hayne needs more practice in short punt/fair catch situations. He hasn't had to deal with any of that in the pre-season and it showed yesterday. Because of that fumble, he might have lost his punt return job to Ellington. Would've been nice to see him get some more snaps in run situations. I think Tomsula overused Hyde a bit too much in the 4th quarter, esp since the game looked over at that point. Don't want to risk injuring your starting RB.
Reggie Bush wants to return punts? He's already injured! If he comes back, Tomsula should just say "No Way". They have plenty of other options for a punt returner.
