I've practiced Karate at the Karate Club in Sunset for about 6 years, and i got my black belt. Currently i'm not practicing, i stopped about 4 years ago. But i'd love to go at it again. Although, nowadays, i get dizzy from a single twirl.. =(
I have seen videos on iclub of some martial artists that do a sort of urban acrobatic, jackie chan type roof jumping, wall walking art form.
I am am a bay area photographer interested in finding a group of guys in the area that
would be interested in performing stunts like this in front of the camera..

Styles that look cool (IMHO): Taekwondo (flurrries of kicks, flexibility, nice aerial maneuvers, and some really punishing looking kicks), capoeira (the Brazilian "breakdancing" style), Wushu (acrobatic Chinese kung fu), I guess "Americanized" kenpo and karate...
The key is to look for schools that compete in show competitions as opposed to combat competitions I guess. I never really had much interest in such showmanship so I'm not so sure about which school in the Bay Area offer these sorts of things. I only know about Abada Capoeira at the Brazilian Cultural Center on Mission St. (I forget the cross street, but I'm pretty sure it's before 25th).
As for some of the videos posted, I don't think they're local gyms, but don't quote me on that...
BTW, you've got some nice work on your homepage!
