The Official BAIC Martial Arts Thread
A lil late night bump for this thread and for this goin on today (Sunday) at 1pm. http://www.bullshido.net/forums/showthread.php?t=25694
It was good times! I'd say about 40 or so people showed up. I sparred about 4 or 5 rounds. I had to leave early for work though.
This is a class mate that went with me, he's sparring a MMA guy.

I have other videos and pictures and what not...I just didnt feel comfortable putting it up on putfile.com I have to figure out some other way to put them up!
I'd say 95% of the people there were grapplers/MMA. Not very many were strickly stand up. Either way, it was fun!

Cool beans!
I think the key for us strikers is to learn enough groundfighting to at least prevent from getting caught in locks/chokes (and hopefully get back up on our feet), and to be able to effectively counter takedowns (sprawling out a shoot, etc.). Then we let our fists, feet, knees, and elbows do the talking haha
