The Official: All Things Phone Thread
Now on T-Mobile with unlimited 4G on my Samsung Galaxy S II . Signal is pretty damn good in my area and work. Speeds are not as fast as LTE , getting up to 22MBs. Rooted and flashed Jedi Mind Trick rom first day. Was paying too much for Verizon with 4GB data , saved $60 a month by switching.

Google announcement today. AKA another day I hate being on VZW.

I don't get why Nexus 4 is still HSPA+21 and not +42 . When I had the Galaxy Nexus ( +21 ) speeds were only up to 5-7MBs compared to an S II ( +42 ) up to 22MBs in the same area.
Lack of LTE coverage in Europe, coupled with lack of contract in Europe, partially encouraged Google to leave LTE off the table.
Anyways, I'm getting the Nexus 4 and probably gonna go At&t.
Looks like it was a misprint on their site. Nice looking phone with some bad *** specs

I live in a house divided. My wife went from an iPhone 3g to an iPhone 5. I held it. Played with it. It's a nice phone. Aesthetically one of the best. Feels solid in my hand. The guy made a mistake at Apple telling me that the key factor in making the phone thinner was to move the touch pad closer to the glass. He tells me, "See your phone? How it's cracked but you can still use it? With the iPhone5, if you crack it, that's really unlikely." Good job, Apple guy.
Anyway, I ended up with the HTC DNA, and I'm stoked.
Either way, my wife and I kissed AT&T goodbye. In our home, on our way to work, and in downtown San Jose the signal was horrible. It was never better than mediocre at best. Now on Verizon, I'm good anywhere I go, and 4GLTE is rad.
Also, my iPhone4, my wife's 3G, and even her new iPhone5 suck on wi-fi. My Droid? Lightning fast on 4G or wi-fi.

My 16 gig nexus 4 came today, and so did I,
Ditching my galaxy nexus, Verizon lte is fast, but it kills the battery in a matter of hours
By the way, the nexus 4 can get lte if you live in an area where ATT utilizes band 13 aws

I can easily get 16+ hours on a single charge on my S3, with pretty heavy usage of txt, email, streaming music ect.
But the JB update today, has destroyed my battery
6 hours of almost NO usage and i was down to 25%
