yea but its not as smooth for Windows based PCs yet. There are work arounds.. but yea. Think ill hold off a bit till its more dialed in

 

What dropping it on and flashing isn't smooth enough for you?

I did the harder method which involved a lot of crossing fingers but its nice to see the phone fully unlocked now. I checked out that app and it is indeed legit! If you don't feel comfortable using ADB this is the best solution!

 

where do I get my phone unlocked? I heard Verizon will do this.

I am going to some back woods crap hole and want to use their sim card (going to the UK)

 

Yea you should be able to just take it in (or call) and say that you're going abroad and they should unlock the roaming. But your bootloader will still be locked.

have any of you guys gotten the iphone 5 yet? i've been trying to find it at at&t store, apple store, radio shack, etc. and they're all out of stock for the past two weeks now.

at this point should i pre-order and wait it out for the next few weeks? or keep hoping they'll get some in stock?
