I decided to manually load it.. but the utilities are not running right to load the update from my pc....

 

its up and running

well kinda... im redoing all my settings, reinstalling all my APKs, call log, txt messages ect ect.. So i havnt really even played with it yet haha

 

god damn verizon.. upgraded my contract on 6/27 and pre-ordered my samsung galaxy s 3, then on 6/28 they sent me a text saying my order got cancels... spent the next 2 hours on the phone with their csr to get the order back... and now they are unsure if they can give me back my unlimited...

 

i would fight like no other for that.. i got mine preordered on the 27th as well




Oh and Sigma, starting tomorrow you will be able to manually ping the ICS update to your phone

Just watched a video of google search next to siri... Google blew siri out of the water

 

I has ICS. I clicked system update last night at 10 and by 10.20 I was all done.

 

No ICS here

 

I updated over wifi so I know wifi will update the maxx to ICS

 

This works for the nexus, so it might work for other phones to force an update. Go to manage running applications, find Google services framework, clear data, and force stop. Check for an update.

Also jelly bean is crazy fast and smooth, but waiting nite on an official update that has working LTE.

Although these are working fine for me, I take no responsibility if you freeze the same and have problems. Obviously if you use suck services like Photobucket, you should not freeze that process. Same goes for if you use the stock txt messaging.

 

What are your must have apps for android? My GF just picked up a HTC One X and gettin' to work on apps as well as ways to freezes apps, etc

 

MyBackUpPro (one of the few apps ive actually paid for) This will let you back up your apps+ app data. txt messages, call log, system settings ect ect. So if you have to wipe your phone out, you can restore everything. And if you have root access, you can go in and freeze system apps
