Anyone with JB? I'm on a G Nex with Vicious 4.1.1 and francokernel r230. Battery life is crap! No juice defender, uninstalled, reinstalled a lot of apps and it's still going awake every 10 min. Went from 25 total on with about 1.5 hrs of usage to 14 with less than an hr!

Any one with similar issues? I think I'm gonna do a full wipe/restore and reflash from there.

 

Also when you go to wipe in your recovery go to advanced and wipe battery stats and then do a full discharge and recharge.

 

Rooted n Flashed Synergy de-bloated stock rom on my Galaxy S III. So much quicker and able to un-install all the Verizon crap. Was pretty easy to do too.

Find a Rom that runs 4.0.4. It will make your battery life much better. The g nex is bad on battery life, but the fix for 4.0.4 should be good. Or update to jelly bean.

 

My EVO LTE is awesome. Love it. Running fresh Rom 5.1.1 and its great.

vicious 4.1.1 is a JB ROM, and frankly all the JB ROMs I've run are slightly more power hungry than ICS. My hunch with my current batt. issues is that I misflashed something, so when I can afford the phone downtime, I'm going to reflash to the stock image, and flash leankernel + Vicious 4.1.1 08/08/12 nightly build.

And yes, 4.0.4 was awesome for an OTA.

 

Thinking about selling my Samsung Galaxy S III Verizon n terminating my less than a month old contract. Can't live without unlimited data... Probably going with T-Mobile / SIMple Mobile with an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone from Google.
