Im assuming you could just flash a new radio and that might take care of the signal issue?

Debating HTC One or S4. Had S3 for 2 months , dislike the home button like on iPhones but nice to have removable battery. HTC is nicely built , screen not as big , no removable battery , dual front speakers ..

The S4 is plastic-y, the reason why I left Samsung. The HTC One is a great phone though, maybe you could consider a Nexus 4? lol

Thomas elaborate, my side button broke on the S2 and I need a phone today... I'm about to head out to best buy.

I'm tired of battery life on the android.
I know iPhone is more vanilla but its solid compared to android OS.

If you are already used to Android, and you take advantage of all the stuff you can do to them, i would stick with it.

If battery life if a huge deal, you can get an extended battery. The ZeroLemmon battery has been getting great reviews on XDA. Its a 7000mah and people have been getting 2+ days with 12 hours of on screen time on a single charge. It comes with a 6 month warranty and you can get them for like $35 on Amazon.

The biggest mistake most people make when it comes to Android devices is thinking that getting the latest model is the way to go like how it is with the iPhone. However a bit more research is needed to determine what is the best phone to get. The biggest thing to look for is who is the manufacturer and is the phone a flagship phone?

I feel that most people get the best results with either the Samsung Galaxy or Google Nexus line. The reason for this is that these phone/tablet lines are more than likely going to be getting device support from the manufacturer.

Also, it comes down to what you expect your phone to do and what you need your phone to do.

That being said I am loving the AOKP 4.2.2. Rom on the S3

Wish the battery life was a bit better on AOKP. I'm coming from a Stock TouchWiz type of ROM called CLEANROM which i could go almost 2 days on a single charge with my 4200mAh battery but on AOKP i can do only about 15 hours. This is all with hard use email/sms/music/web all day. Still been a solid rom though. Are you using the stock Kernal and Radio with AOKP? If it'll improve things i'm willing to try it out. The kernal isn't such a big deal but the reception is.
