^Agreed. The devs seem to be working overtime with this thing haha.. And with the dev edition phone coming out, im sure that will/might speed things up for the locked ones
right now, i believe it is the best phone out there.
i "fixed" my wifi issues (my new router doesnt play nice with the S3 so i just booted up an older router and just set it to wifi N only and speeds are zooming).
cant beat the R&R battery.
cant beat the SD card.
both are ifone killers. actually, i had an HTC ONE X a month before i got the S3 and it didnt have the two issues. i might as well be back on my ifone 3G.
i couldnt care less about the plastic back panel as i plan on getting a good case for it.
it has a gigantic screen. previously, i had a dell streak 5. i thought that screen is gigantic. it is actually a wee bit bigger still. i think the S3 is like 95% of the screen size of the streak, but the overall size is smaller.
dual core. would have liked a quad core.
android 4.x.
NFC tags. this is a cool feature that most dont even utilize.
now some CONS:
the home button... would like something bigger. yes, the ifone home button would be nice.
volume rocker would be better on right side and power button on top. yes. 3 years on my ifone 3G got me "trained" on certain things.
hate that the NFC is part of the battery so aftermarket batts may or may not have the NFC.
didnt like the file system where internal memory is SDCARD while add-on is labeled as EXTSDCARD

Ok picked up a S3 last night, I'll update a little later once I have used it. I know one thing I really don't like the Touchwiz crap and the keyboard for texting and such is complete crap!

Root and install stock ASOP keyboard. That's what I did. Also hated touch wiz crap.

Yea not a huge fan of the keyboard. I HATE how when you "shift" to use numbers, then hit spacebar, it doesnt auto switch the keyboard back to letters..
I use Launcher 7 as my launcher. Somehow I feel the Microsoft tiles are the best interface for me.
I use a core of like 5 apps. The rest can be loaded where I have to scroll down just a bit.
Of course I still have access to all apps also with one quick swipe.
Check it out.
As my KB, I use a "gingerbread" KB.
