Yeah, I found this Del-Ton, Inc. AR-15 16" 1x9 Mid-Length Lightweight Rifle Kit with Magazine for $430, including 10rd mag. Could easily pick up a blem lower and bullet button and keep it at under $500, not counting shipping.

Agree with Lurk.. i would ditch the "Crapco" buffer. Purchase a Spikes, BCM, Daniel Defense.. a reputable company for essential operation parts is a must (for me). Also, what type of buffer did you get? H? H2?

Went to Peninsula Guns in San Bruno, and got my build started with this:

Lower (Multi) Forged Pirate - Bullet Markings [STLS016] - $115.00 : Spikes Tactical

Gonna buy the rest of my kit (either DT or PSA) probably next month, after I get paid.

Excited!

Propper makes some good stuff!
I also like Tennier's sleep system with an extra camo goretex bivy so my girlfriend and i can split the two interior bags. She gets the black cold bag and bivy and i get the green patrol bag and bivy.
Nobody around here will need both bags in 1 bivy around here.
Such a comfy sleep system when on your stomach.
Heres both bags loaded up with all of its contents.

The IBLE was a decent design (designed by Arc'Teryx) but Propper really dropped the ball in its execution. Having used one, I can tell you the hardware on it is prone to breakage. Especially the plastic buckles and straps. If you load this pack up and go on a hike, you will get hotspots, back blisters, and will generally be hating life after using it. Most of the guys in Recon ditched the IBLE and used the old ALICE Mountain Packs.

There's a reason why the Marine Corps decided to replace the IBLE with a new pack. That's why there's so many of these IBLE's coming into the surplus market. Most of the time they're not complete, since guys lose pieces of the pack system when they turn them into CIF.
