Don't think it didn't cross my mind, but it is 3hrs north of the Bay Area. If you didn't like the desert weather, you won't like my place either. 100+ every day since the first week of July, pretty typical of there in summer.

10 acres, house and good size garage. Very hilly so I have my own backstops, but since it is in a neighborhood still, we don't go for much long distance shooting; maybe 150-200yds.

I haven't even had a chance to fire it yet! (that will change today ) I tried it out on another pistol with it before and liked it so much I bought one. Dry firing on this one I can tell I'm going to be pleased. The HDs are plenty bright in the dark too.

Picked this up yesterday. Savage M93 .17 HMR. "Tacticool" stock, fluted barrel, accutrigger, scoped. Bought it "used" up here, but it was unfired. Guy won it in a raffle, had a scope mounted and zeroed and then never even fired it and put it on consignment. So I got a pretty good deal on it. I already have a Vortex Viper to install on it, but I shot it as is and it shoots very nice. First bolt action I've owned oddly. All my others have been semi.
