Don't know about the grease, but he makes some of the best 1911s around.

That is a nice Mk12 Mod.0 upper. What barrel are you running and what optic are you going to mount on it?

 

So like, am I the only one that went 7.62x39 standard rather than the 5.56/.223? I opted to go the AK/SKS route myself.

 

I wouldnt want to get hit with a .30 cal round with that much power but really the only thing it has going for it is being able to punch thru a car or cement. Not very accurate at long distances hence why our military uses 5.56 and 7.62x52.

Im pretty sure I can get a m855 steel core 62 grain to do the same thing tho....and with more accuracy.

I went shooting a long time ago with my dad and we were shooting a 1/4 inch thick plate of steel. Just my 55grain m192's were burning right thru the steel @ 100yards.

Speaking of PRI, their carbon fiber freefloat tubes are still the ****. Even with all the new keymod stuff flooding the market, a simple design like PRI's FF tubes are still relevant. Did a Recce rifle clone using their carbine length CF tube.

It has a 5.56 Douglas 416 stainless steel w/M4 feed ramps 1:8 twist. thinking about putting just a leppy on there for now until i shell up the cash for a nf.

 

It's too bad that Nightforce discontinued the 2.5-10x24 for commercial sales. All the guys that were looking to build an accurate NSW Mk12 clone had to just settle for a 2.5-10x32.

Leupold makes great glass. I don't think you're giving anything up by running one of their scopes vs the NF. As a matter of fact, the Marine Corps issues their Mk12 Mod.1's with a Leupold on it.
