good job by the guys to beat the Bucks and stop their 2 game skid. yeah, it's "only" the Bucks, but it was much needed W and ended our 7 game roadtrip on a positive note.

KB shook off the rust a bit for 30 pts+8 boards while hitting his first 7 shots+a lil over 50% for the game. Odom had a strong game w/20+10, and Sasha chipped in off the bench w/11 pts, which is encouraging. he's been fighting injuries all season and has been inconsistent w/his J. we really need him to get back into Machine mode to help spread the floor and keep defenses honest.

well, back to Staples for some home cookin'. hopefully they can recharge and get back to Lake Show ball again!

big game vs the Rockets tonight! i know i said we should concentrate on getting our own affairs, incl tightening up our sloppy play of late, but it'd still great if the Magic could knock off the Cavs in the early game. w/that, we'd have a chance at cutting the Cavs' lead to only 1 game!

yeah, it was a close game....kinda ugly, but we got the job done. the guys really clamped down on Yao. Odom was in foul trouble most of the game, but Pau was pretty good at keeping the pressure on Yao at both ends. D-Fish stepped up the whole 94 feet too. and what can i say about KB.......he didn't score a bazillion points, but he had a vert nice all around game....20 pts on just 11 shots and distributed the ball really well. this is the way we should be playing! :banana:

only thing is that our bench still isn't in full stride yet. Sasha's J was really off again, and Farmar was pretty ineffective Luke gave us some nice minutes, and Benga provided some uncharacteristic scoring tho.

1 game behind the Cavs now! (thx Magic!) we CAN do this!

not a real sharp game by the Lake Show, but they just held off the Clips. too bad the Spurs couldn't beat the Cavs this morning or else we'd be tied for the best record in the L. we're still in the hunt tho....next game is Tues, so the guys can get some much needed r&r until then and hopefully come back re-energized to hit the homestretch w/all they have!

decent win vs the Queens tonight....started off a lil slow, but most everyone contributed. LO+Pau w/double-doubles, KB w/a controlled 20 pts, and Trevor gave us his usual lock-down D+energy...chipped in 14 pts too! the Bench Mob was ok...Farmar still needs to step up his game on both ends, and so does Sasha, but Luke did work w/a near double-double in pts+assists (one dime short)

we still can play a whole lot better, but at least they've cleaned things up a bit.

big game tonight......Nuggets have been playing well lately and usually give us a good fight. we're still trying to overtake the Cavs and grab the #1 spot too, so it should be a great game.

oh, and..............Bynum's supposed to be back!! :banana: it's great that we'll have Drew in the paint, but i hope he doesn't get too hyped. we gotta bring him back gradually cuz he'll be even more valuable in the $$$-rounds!

game was quite a bit easier for the Lake Show than i anticipated. we had a decent start and never were really in danger, but we did let give up double digit leads a couple times instead of just keeping the pedal to the metal and putting the Nugs to sleep. we gave up too much dribble penetration into the key too, and easy buckets to Melo, but all in all, it was a good win.

props to KB for another good shooting performance+33pts and Pau for slugging it out for 27+19! it was really good to have Bynum back. what a difference another big makes on both ends! we just need the kid to stay healthy and everyone to stay focused. then we'll have a real good shot at making doing something special!

on to Portland....gonna be a tough game for sure. they've been owning us there, but hopefully we can put a stop to that!

smh, blazers got us AGAIN!? we sweep the cavs+celtics, but can't get ONE game against those guys?? man, that's like 9 in a row we've dropped at their place.

man, cavs won again too, so we're down 1.5 games now. it's gonna take some doing to win out, esp w/the Jazz as our last reg season game. we're gonna need some help from the squads playing the Cavs too.

oh well, just gotta focus on what we can control and let the rest take care of themselves. at least Bynum ad another good games. if only our guards could play some better D, esp on the perimeter.

blazers are def an exciting squad w/a load of talent. even if oden never develops into the beast that they want him to be, they are going to be scary good for years to come, esp as Roy, Aldridge, Fernandez, & Co get more experience. we need another rival to slug it out w/anyway cuz the Queens just suck donkey ***** now! the Suns are pretty sorry as well too.

back to real biz tho.....

good that the Lake Show handled the Grizz last night as they should've. the Cavs are beating the Pacers right now, so it looks like they will hold on for the #1 spot. it's just as well. all true championship worthy teams should be able to win on the road. we are the best road squad in the L, so we (and everyone else) know that it really doesn't matter if we play in our own dojo or others'.

time to rest KB, Pau, & D-Fish a bit and get ready for the REAL season! :banana: we still should try to keep sharp and in these last coupla games, but we need those dudes to be fresh. bynum's coming along well and should only get stronger w/each game back *KNOCK ON WOOD* man, i can't wait for the playoffs to kick off!!
