last game of the reg season vs the Jazz tonight....thought PJ would rest are heavy hitters since the cavs clinched homecourt last night, but the starters are still gonna be out there. i guess it's good to keep everyone sharp going into the playoffs, but i hope they don't get too many minutes. we need em to be ready for WAR!!

but it's not time to celebrate. the real games start Sunday! we're gonna be locked up w/the Jazz again, and despite what happened tonight, the series is probably going to be tough. there'll be no Stockton+Malone, but Utah always has a lota pride, and no way Jerry Sloan is gonna just let his guys roll over and die w/out a fight.

Great game. Utah just kept on hanging in there. Just couldn't shake them off in the second half.

yeah, nice win+start to the series by the Lake Show. we let them back into the game in the 3rd, instead of just stepping on their necks and putting them away, but overall, it was a decent effort.

KB was a lil sloppy but helped give us some momentum w/those buckets going into the break. that and one dunk at the end def was sick. lol @ ABC for concluding their coverage w/the replay of him after the dunk yelling......"Get off the f@ck off me!"

Ariza & Shannon Brown were our MVPs today tho. props to Trevor for his career playoff high 21pts & Brown for being wet from beyond the arc...3 for 3! as usual they both locked down on D too.

again, nice start, but it's still only one game. the Jazz aren't gonna go down w/out a fight, and we can still play a lot better.....cut down turnovers, rebound stronger, and CLOSE OUT ON SHOOTERS! we gave them waaaay too many open looks. fortunately, the Jazz were pretty cold and missed most of them, but we can't expect that to continue.

can't wait for game 2!

btw, hope Rhihanna isn't taking out her frustrations and wearing out Bynum. they're rumored to be dating!

btw, not Lake Show related, but, dang, the Bulls vs Celtics series is good! Ben Gordon was going nuts. too bad Ray Ray+the C's had the last shot/laugh tho.

looks like Rhi-Rhi's been taking it easy on Bynum so far cuz he & the Lake Show are in BEAST mode offensively right now! they put up 41 pts in the 1st qtr & made 11 straight shots!?

bad news is the Jazz are shooting lights out too....only down 9 now. we were up 14 less than a min ago. we need to defend better. they're getting way too many open looks again.....gotta keep Deron outa the paint especially.

Lake Show's still up by 11, but they need to stop screwing around and just put the Jazz away already....keeping building 14-15pt leads but also keep letting them back into the game instead of busting it wide open. they're still pretty good w/the ball....some sloppy passes+turnovers, but Deron is really lighting them up w/treys and getting into the key at will.....CLAMP DOWN ON HIM & IT'S GAME OVER!!

got another W but not at all pleased w/their performance....way too many turnovers, &, again, failed to go for the kill when we had the opportunitieS. like Barkley just said, they're getting away w/this sloppy play against the overmatched Jazz, but it ain't gonna cut it against other squads. we need to tighten things up ASAP!!

well, on to Utah. it's always tough there, so should be a helluva game.

They got sloppy at the end of the half. Loosing that 20-point lead has no excuses. They left the door open. They also need to stop Williams. He was having his way with them. Bynum didn't look great after the half, Must be the Rihanna syndrome.
But a win is a win. It's going to be tough at Utah. If they can get one there, it's over.

ever since our 29 pt meltdown vs the Celts last Finals, it has to have most every Lake Show fan & player a lil shook every time the squad gives up leads. i'm glad everyone's finally healthy & we're managing to get wins so far, but, frankly, we SHOULD be beating the Jazz.

i mean, we're the #1 seed, & they're #8. we have the best road record in the L. i think they might have the worst. there's no reason we shouldn't be blowing them out just about every game. they're shorthanded w/out Okur, & Boozer is still gimpy too.

we definitely have to get rid of our sloppy play, esp turnovers. and, yeah, Deron is kicking our ***!? D-Fish, Shannon, & Farmar gotta contain him a whole lot better. he gets any shot he wants and is carving our D to pieces dropping dimes, esp in the paint. control him & we win......pure & simple.

above all, we need to get that killer instinct & just take squads out......just stomp on their necks from the jump like the Cavs are doing & the Celts did last year. it's really frustrating how we play down to our competition & do just enough to win more often than not. that's not the make of a championship-caliber squad. we won't have a better shot at winning another title w/KB+this group than this season. the time is NOW!
