the lakers and the celtics both looked tired and played like crap. Not just shooting like crap but making really poor decisions and stupid fouls.
The fact that both teams BARELY won is not a good sign. I think both game one winners are gonna loose the series. Lakers have a better chance than the celtics but if ray allen wakes up it's on.
The lakers need to make quick work of their series because the cavs are gonna float into the finals and if they're tires they're gonna have a hard time containing lebron.
Oh.... and I agree 100% on Lebron winning the MVP but I think he got to high of a percentage of the votes. Kobe's team mates get way too much credit and kobe actually uses his team mates and will pass up shots to win games where lebron reminds me a lot of AI when he won the MVP.
And I'm tired of the lebron and jordan comparisons. He'll never be MJ. If MJ hadn't taken a couple years off they probably would have won 9 championships in a row and they would have done it with 2 good players. No other player has carried two men into the hall of fame before. Lebron is amazing and will be for the next 10 years but he's no jordan... hell he's on the same level as a lot of other guys... with Jordan there was NO DOUBT who the best was. Ever.

celts did look real tired the other night, but who could blame them? the bulls & them basically played 8 games during their first round series cuz of all the OTs. the celts are playing much better vs the magic right now tho. but i don't care about the celt.....i really don't cuz i HATE them! lol
seriously, i don't give a rat's @$# about Lebron or the cavs either. he did deserve the mvp this year and has his squad playing well, but it's all about the Lake Show right now. KB & the guys have to come out and play ball tonight......not be played or play themselves like they've been doing. they gotta roll their sleeves up and DO WORK......get back to playing like the #1 seed and a title-contending team!
GO LAKERS!!!!!!

see what happens when we get out there and GRIND? we get a much better effort and result!!
gotta admit, the Rockets are playing w/a lota heart and were still there to almost the very end. had they not lost their composure, esp Artest, it would've gone down to the wire!
props to the whole squad for coming out and playing w/a purpose from the jump. KB & Pau held things down on the offensive end. Lamar was a beast on the boards, & chipped in a few buckets too (gotta hit his FTs tho). it was great to have Luke back. he really helped w/handling the rock & hit some key buckets as well. also much thanks to Shannon, Sasha, Trevor, & D-Fish for doing a better job containing their guards. they still got free for some treys, but we converged on D and caused some turnovers, which translated to some transition buckets for us.
man, i dunno what's gonna happen to D-Fish. hopefully, he isn't suspended next game. like the commentators were saying, Deron did the same thing to one our dudes last series and only got a foul called on him. if Fish is put on ice, our young bucks gotta be ready to step in for him.
wow, this gonna be a helluva series. Lake Show better stay sharp cuz the Rockets most def are gonna be ready to slug it out at home. we gotta go there and get at least one to take back homecourt. let's start w/game 3!

shame, shame at Laker haters getting all salty and going Psycho Ron after a Lake Show win! lol
seriously, take a deep breath......only a game. i was bummed when we lost game 1, but i took it like a man.
just too bad Artest lost it. he was having a real nice game up until that point. he's made some strides at learning to control himself, but i guess he's not totally there yet. live by Ron-Ron.....die by Ron-Ron tho. hopefully he'll be able to regroup cuz it wouldn't be the same series w/out him.
looking forward to game 3!
p.s. Pau was great tonight! we need a lot more from Bynum tho!
