props to the squad for not screwing around, and handling their biz tonight.....absolutely ANNIHILATED the Wiz. KB just chilled in the cut and helped the kid, Drew, have another nice game w/24+12 or so.

only bummer was Sun Yue not hitting any buckets....crowd was ready to explode too! lol

time for everyone, esp KB & D-Fish to, to get some much needed rest and come back out swinging on Sun against the Spurs. no MIRACLE, hail mary shots or refs to bail em out this time.....we need to beat those guys down!

Great game with Jordan back and playing like he was never out. Easy win over the old Spurs.

 

dominating performance by the Lake Show! KB & most of the starters didn't even have to play in the 4th qtr! Bynum kept his streak of solid games going w/another double-double. the kid really is coming into his own. it was great to have Farmar back too....gives D-Fish some time to rest up and also provides us w/another gear that we've been lacking since he got injured. the guys are playing pretty well. all we gotta do is tighten up our d a bit, esp on the arc and keep finishing quarters off strong.

props to Ariza for another solid effort off the bench too w/8+5+3 steals & 1 block. dude always gives us a spark & is quickly becoming one of my favorite players. i've liked his game ever since his UCLA days and even while he didn't get much burn w/the Knicks & Magic. they were real dum-dums for letting him go, but THANKS!!

nice win & way to kick off our 6 game roadtrip. T-Pups were actually playing some of the best ball in the L lately...like 10-2 the last month, so this game was most def no gimme.

dang, terrible news......i was already having a crummy night. i missed the game, but i just read the recap on espn.com. i hope bynum's knee is okay too. another bad knee injury would be devastating to the Lake Show's forseeable future, let alone their title hopes this year. drew was really coming into his own lately too....5 straight double-doubles.

let's keep our fingers X'd for the kid.

 

well, KB did his best to lift the Lake Show's spirits after they got the bad news about Bynum's MCL tear. best wishes to the kid.....hope he gets better soon & has a full recovery. i have a feeling Lakers mgmt is gonna shut him down until next season even tho he's supposed to be only out 8-12 weeks. they have too much riding on him. he's basically the cornerstone for their future.

that said, thank God we still have Mamba.......61 pts at the Garden to set the record for most pts scored! :banana: Lebron has been playing out of his mind this year, but I'll still take KB any day & twice on Sunday!

it's gonna be real difficult to win the title now, but this is gonna show what the squad is really made of. Pau has upped his game this year, but we're gonna need at least a couple others, incl Lamar & our bench to step up. We CAN still do this!

j/k everyone knew Lebron was gonna try to one up KB. these guys always try to downplay their individual wants, but KB & Bron are both highly competitive dudes, which is what makes them great players.

Bron is def a beast. i'm not really a fan of his, but can't help but respect his game.....should be one of the GOAT's when all is said and done.

now, tonight's game is really our focus of the moment. it sucks to be w/out Bynum, but like KB said after he put it down on the Raps last night, playing the Celts in their dojo will be a good test for our squad. it'll be a tough game for us, esp since the Celts are itching to avenge the Xmas loss we gave them, but KB & Pau are playing great ball right now. We just need a couple others, incl our Bench Mob to come out strong too. Our D esp needs to be on point.....Ray Allen & Eddie House have been shooting lights out. Our perimeter guys need to lock them down better......Pierce too.

I think Kobe's was more important. Coming the game after loosing bynum. He needed to show his team and the league that they could still dominate without him. He understands what he needs to do to win. That's why he'll go from scoring 40 points one night to scoring 19 with 13 assists the next night.

Lebron will be better and is the most physically gifted player I've seen since... well ever. I mean we're talking guys like vince carter and a handful of others are up in that natural category.




all I can say is lebron is smoking something if he thinks ANYONE buys his story of not trying to top kobe.


and yeah.. 50 plus with a triple double is insane.
